1. What personal data does GALATHES process about you?

GALATHES processes in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation; hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation") and in accordance with the relevant national data protection legislation the personal data you provide to GALATHES in connection with the use of the Services.

2. For what purposes and on the basis of which legal titles does GALATHES process your personal data?

  • Processing of personal data for the possibility of granting prior access
  • If you request to be granted early access, GALATHES processes your personal data for the purpose of maintaining your customer account within the framework of the "VCR - Virtual Test Booth" product pre-testing program. In the case of customer account management, GALATHES collects and processes the personal data of the data subject within the scope defined in point 1.
  • Processing of personal data within the inquiry form
  • If you submit an enquiry form, you consent to the processing of the personal data filled in so that you can be contacted. The data provided is used to personalize the offer. In case of consent, GALATHES collects and processes the personal data of the subject within the scope defined in point 1.
  • Processing of personal data for sending newsletters (commercial communications)
  • In case you register your e-mail address to receive newsletters, GALATHES will process your personal data in the scope - e-mail address, based on your consent to the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending offer e-mails and other commercial communications by electronic means according to Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services. GALATHES will start processing your Personal Data only after you have registered your e-mail address to receive newsletters on Galathes.com and subsequently you will receive an e-mail message informing you about your inclusion in the newsletter system for user verification with the possibility of unsubscribing from newsletters.
  • In the case of existing customers, GALATHES may process your personal data to the extent specified in point 1. for the above-mentioned purpose on the basis of a legal title of legitimate interest.
  • Use of cookies and website analysis
  • If you use the GALATHES website, you agree to the collection of cookies that GALATHES uses on its website to improve the functioning of its website, to evaluate its traffic and to optimize marketing activities, i.e. to offer advertising for goods based on an evaluation of your interest in the goods.

If you withdraw your consent, this does not affect the processing of your personal data by GALATHES for other purposes and under other legal titles, in accordance with this Information on the processing of personal data.

4. Who all will have access to your personal data?

In addition to GALATHES and its employees, personal data may also be processed by GALATHES' partners for the purposes described above. GALATHES carefully chooses the external partners who may process your personal data as processors and entrusts personal data only to those partners who provide sufficient guarantees to ensure appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent, in particular, accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or unauthorised access to, the personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.

The entities that may have access to your personal data are or may in the future be:

  • persons who provide the technical operation of a service for GALATHES, or operators of the technology used by GALATHES for these services (typically programming or other technical support services, server services, email distribution, services related to measuring traffic to our website and adapting its content to user preferences);
